We believe that establishing a trusted relationship is the key to unlocking sustainable sales growth as well as to negotiating agreements that benefit both parties.
Our consultative selling skills programmes introduce practical skills to help salespeople build trust-based relationships, step into the customer’s shoes to understand their needs and provide solutions that deliver tangible benefits. We don’t do “death-by-powerpoint”: the learning is embedded through drill and practice activity, culminating in a client simulation that delivers a memorable experience.
We take the same approach to our negotiation skills programmes, which are based on a set of tried-and-tested principles, rather than on theory or concept. Taking a building-block approach, we start with simple negotiation exercises and increase the complexity through the programme, leading up to a real-life negotiation simulation that helps participants learn through experience. Videoed reviews of activity add an extra dimension to the learning.
We use professional corporate role-players in all our sales and negotiation skills programmes, giving participants the opportunity to practice and experiment in as close to a real-life setting as it can get.
